Architecture is also landscape and, in Asturias, we have a long tradition of merging our country houses with the colours, textures and formations of nature. This is the idea behind the Playas de Guadamía Country Houses, in Llames de Pría, and our Playa del Canal Country Apartments, in Villanueva de Pría, strategic enclaves with views of the Bay of Biscay and the Europa Mountain Range, built with sustainability, the protection of the landscape, habitability and maximum comfort in mind. The perfect integration of our establishments in nature enhances the comfort perceived with all the senses, both inside and outside. The transition from the interior comfort to the exterior is achieved, in the case of the houses, via spacious and pleasant porches equipped with garden furniture. In addition, all our establishments enjoy access to the private estates on which they stand (8,000 sqm in the case of Casas Rurales Playas de Guadamía and 5,000 sqm in the case of Apartamentos Rurales Playa del Canal), which feature communal gardens, playgrounds, barbecues and private parking spaces.

Rural tourism began in Asturias in 1986. A few years later, we embarked on our career as pioneering entrepreneurs in this sector. Today, despite more than 20 years of experience in tourism with a human touch; in country tourism dedicated to relaxing, silence and nature, we are still working with the enthusiasm of the first day. Our houses blend into nature so that our guests can enjoy them and the landscape directly.

Our country houses are situated in a privileged setting, near the spectacular Bufones de Pría, 25 minutes from the Peñatu megalithic “idol” or the Cuera Mountains, one hour from the Lakes of Covadonga in the Europa Mountains and only 30 minutes from Cangas de Onís, 40 minutes from the Sactuary of Covadonga, a quarter of an hour from Ribadesella and less than half an hour from Llanes. The Cabárceno Nature Park is just over one hour away. Fifty-four minutes will take you to the spectacular Soplao Caves and to the charming towns of Comillas or Santillana del Mar. At just over one hour from Oviedo, Gijón and Avilés, about 2 hours from Bilbao, 2 hours and a quarter from León, three hours from San Sebastián or one hour from Santander, our tourism complex is an accessible and well-connected location from which to travel around Asturias and to the neighbouring regions.
